The Belle Mare
North Hole Freshwater, where Pointe de Flacq, a range of 10 km in length includes some of the best on the white sand and blue sea in Mauritius, surprisingly also home to the largest expansion of hotels Luxury country. The beach of Belle Mare is generally regarded as one of the best of the island, overlooking the beach of El Palmar, just south, not far behind. Belle Mare is a small, simple style with little room for you to recommend it. However, there are several exchange offices here, and two supermarkets.
There are very occasional buses to Palmar from Centre de Flacq, but none to Belle Mare. At least one bus an hour runs from Centre de Flacq north via Poste Lafayette to Rivière du Rempart.
A taxi from Centre de Flacq to Belle Mare or Palmar costs about Rs 300.
